Jaguar Investigations is a private investigation agency located in Tucson, Arizona, serving private and professional clients in Arizona.

Jaguar Investigations is owned by John Young, who was a private investigator in Los Angeles and later in New Mexico. Arizona license #1830115.

His expertise includes several hundred interrogations of terrorist suspects during several tours  in Iraq, while working for the Joint Special Operations Command between 2006 and 2009.  He was a Field Collection Officer, Strategic Debriefer, and Interrogator for the Defense Intelligence Agency.  In 2003, John was a counter-terrorism analyst for the FBI, assigned to the Terrorist Threat Integration Center in McLean, Virginia. His duties included tracking terrorist suspects and threat assessments of infrastructure, including nuclear installations. Before retiring from the government, John trained soldiers in HUMINT operations at Ft. Huachuca.

John also worked as a police officer for the cities of Farmington and Portales, New Mexico.  He is a graduate of the New Mexico Law Enforcement Academy. As a former police officer, John is familiar with the criminal justice system. He has arrested suspects for numerous crimes, including narcotics trafficking and murder.  He is a graduate of the New Mexico Law Enforcement Academy and was a program manager for the NM Department of Public Safety, where he was a coordinator for the targeting of narcotics traffickers.

As a PI in Los Angeles, John located an illegal immigrant who had fled to the desert and persuaded him to testify in court against the Mexican Mafia. In New Mexico, his investigation of a high school principal in Gallup for pedophilia led to his conviction and life in prison. 

John was also a reporter for The Arizona Daily Star in Tucson and the Voice of America in Washington, D.C. He has a B.A. in journalism from the University of Arizona and a Master’s in history from the University of New Mexico.
